Wall Street Gears Up for Fed’s Monetary Policy Decision as Tech Titans Rally
At the time of writing, stocks are on the rise this Monday as investors focus on the Federal Reserve’s impending monetary policy decision. This pivotal event is occurring against the backdrop of shifting expectations surrounding interest rates spurred by recent inflationary data. Following a retreat from recent peaks, the Magnificent Seven ensemble of tech giants is spearheading the rally today.
The Nasdaq Composite is surging by 1%, leading the charge as the S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average also ascend by 0.8% and 0.3%, respectively. Notably, all three indices are trading back above their 21-day exponential moving average.

Tesla leads the charge with a substantial 5.5% gain, closely followed by Google’s parent company, Alphabet, which also climbs 4.8%. Amazon comes up the rear with a modest 0.4% uptick.
