Nasdaq Hits Record High Amid Tech Surge, Inflation Relief
The Nasdaq Composite soared to a historic close on Thursday, bolstered by a robust rally in Big Tech stocks, as the latest inflation report delivered a cooler-than-expected outcome. Investors breathed a collective sigh of relief as wholesale prices registered softer-than-anticipated figures.
Leading the charge, the SMH Semiconductor ETF and the URA Uranium ETF captured attention in today’s trading setups, underscoring the continued strength in these sectors.
Despite a flat performance in the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the broader market exhibited strength, with the S&P 500 climbing by 0.8%. The Nasdaq Composite outshone, surging by 1.7% to clinch its highest-ever closing level. Meanwhile, the 10-year yield edged up to 4.576%.
